Adult, Children and Young Persons Therapist

Counselling and Therapy provide an opportunity to discuss areas of concern with a qualified professional in confidence. Areas of difficulty for young people, as well as adults, often include; depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, stress, relationship difficulties, traumatic events, bereavement, childhood trauma and life changes.  As few of us work well when stressed, angry or unhappy, counsellors and therapists are trained to identify areas of concern and help those they are working with process their thoughts, feelings and experiences and find ways of moving forwards.

For over a decade I have worked with adults, children and young people in a variety of environments including Mind, Priory Education Services, mainstream and special schools and residential settings.

I own and manage S18 Counselling and Therapy, a service providing Counselling and Therapy to over 30 schools across Sheffield and North East Derbyshire. As well as managing the service, I work as Senior Therapist and provide consultation and training for school staff and parents.

My specialist areas are:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Family/Relationship Issues
  • Bereavement and Loss
  • Developmental Trauma
  • Parenting Issues
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Adhd
  • Sensory Processing Disorder
  • Panic Attacks
  • Abuse
